Chidren Home: Children Handed Over To Be Reintegrated With Their Families
May 18, 2015, Kathmandu, Nepal
The children who were under the immediate care of Children’s Home as referred to by the Central Child Welfare Board have been handed over on Friday, May 15, 2015 for their return home to be reintegrated with their families and relatives in Rukum district.
While they were with us, they had a good time playing and making friends. Children are off from school. Schools are resuming soon. All of them received proper medical check-up by a physician; one needed a psychological counseling. They were very happy while at Children’s Home. It was a happy and sad moment: happy as they are soon to be reuniting with their loved ones; sad because they are parting each other.
Children’s Home is keeping a vigil to provide emergency rescue and relief for earthquake affected children. Thank you once again to all the friends of Children’s Home for your kind support and encouragement. We will keep you posted.
